“ This place is awesome. Family run, no nonsense, good Greek food with great service. We live right near the small Calgary location on 8th Ave and often get their food to go, but this time we went to Airdrie to take a friend out for his birthday. George served us and he’s pretty much been there as long as the restaurant has. There is something SO special about service from people who look upon it as a calling. He is exceptional. We had the saganaki, calamari, shrimps, dolmades, a bunch of assorted skewers and potatoes. All of it was delicious. I DREAM of their lemony Greek potatoes. We washed it down with a super approachable and refreshing white Greek wine. We didn’t order dessert but then George brought our friend a piece of baklava with a candle in it. SO sweet and unexpected. And THEN sippers of a grappa type spirit. The perfect digestif. We will always recommend this wonderful family restaurant. ”

“ We drive from south Calgary to Go to Paros because the service and food Is Amazing! I think we ate left overs for 2 days! We only make the trip on weekends because we especially want to see the beautiful Middle Eastern dancers that they have for entertainment on Fri and Saturday night! The Bellydance costumes are tasteful, colorful and beautiful! It's nice to see this art form being preserved. Thank you Paros! ”
“ So, our friends told us we had to check out this restaurant, and we’re so glad we did! The food was absolutely amazing. We tried the calamari, feta cheese, and a platter, and everything was delicious! Seriously, the platter is massive—it could easily feed four people! If you go, definitely get the prawns, calamari, and feta cheese. You won’t regret it! ”
“ If you are looking for a welcoming, family oriented dinner experience for your loved ones, I HIGHLY recommend Paros on Main in Airdrie Alberta. The owner is kind, and is always giving to the community. The staff are impeccably trained, knowledgeable and respectful. I am always impressed by their service and dedication. It is truly elevated dining. The food is the best Greek food you will find in southern Alberta. I especially love the atmosphere here. When you walk in, you are greeted with Greek music, and outstanding aromas to tempt your senses. At 7pm every Friday and Saturday they have live entertainment in the form of traditional belly dancers. I am told this tradition had been happening for over 20 years! They are tasteful, professional and respectful purveyors of this beautiful artform. Thank you Paros for your incredible contribution to our community! We love you and will be back soon! ”
“ The lamb souvlaki, tzatziki and calamari are unreal and addictive! The lamb is perfectly seasoned, grilled and so tender. Portion sizes are generous, and flavour packed. Service was attentive and pleasant. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Even though they have 3 satellite locations in Calgary, it’s unfortunate they only have the lamb souvlaki at this location. Still, well worth the trip and such a treat! ”
“ Paros on main has been one of our favourite restaurants for years. The service is always great & the food is simply unbeatable. Although we have eaten here countless times I have never been compelled to write a review until tonight, however I wanted to publicly applaud Zach for stepping up what was already a remarkable experience. With two toddlers in tow, we are fully aware we aren’t always the easiest customers however the service we received tonight was still remarkable. By far one of the most attentive servers we have had at any restaurant. He was kind, respectful & informative - making what we already knew would be an amazing meal so much better. I can not recommend this restaurant enough! ”
“ Good portions along with reasonable prices for good food. Calamari was soft and not greasy. The Souvlaki Platter for 2 was more than enough food for two people and it was a nice variety of food. My only complaint was the meat for the skewers we ordered were dry and it took a long time for our food to finally come out. ”
